"Overall a really good experience. We did have another bid, but theirs was very competitive. I highly recommend working with Bruce Simonian because of his many years of experience in the flooring business. We had wood flooring installed as well as several rooms with carpet. "I am happy to be able to write a positive review of our experience with the purchase and installation new carpeting from Tahoe Specialty. There were some very frustrating problems at the outset, largely due to communication issues: although everyone we dealt with was pleasant and promised to be helpful, there were delays that were not explained as well as a lack of clarity about job orders and invoices. Ultimately Coreen, one of the owners, did get involved and corrected the problems very effectively. From that point on we received excellent customer service: prompt communication and feedback, clarity with regard to all of the options and decisions, prompt action to address a small problem discovered in the carpet itself, and a very good installation job. I would definitely recommend working with Tahoe Specialty. Customers will find a great carpet selection and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would also urge customers to be clear at the outset about their own needs for clear and timely communication."

"We have been decorating our home over the past couple of years and are so pleased to have finally found Tahoe Specialty Carpets. Coreen and Ashlee were incredibly helpful and responsive, when assisting us in choosing what items would work for us. I had several disappointing experiences with other decorators in town, which not surprisingly are no longer in business. In fact, I was so skeptical about quality of work and price gouging from the local lake businesses, that when I was looking for new carpet, I did price comparisons with Tahoe Specialty and a few places in Truckee and Reno. I found that Tahoe Specialty actually had the best pricing and even when a Reno based company claimed to be lower over the phone, their final pricing suddenly increased with hidden fees and add-ons after they came out to measure. Not only was the pricing from Tahoe Specialty reasonable, but the quality of their installation was also excellent. I subsequently used them for multiple window treatments and have been completely satisfied with both their quality of work and pricing.
