Window fashions, flooring, tile, ect. are more complex than you might think. Many questions arise when we come to your home regarding how you expect products to perform, how often you will make use of them, whether you have children or pets in the home, what furniture might be placed in front of a window, etc. Tahoe Specialty Flooring & Window Design knows the right questions to ask to make sure your purchase functions for optimal performance and ease of use. With many products, exact (and knowledgeable) measuring and installation are critical, especially for inside mount window treatments and with hard, fitted products such as shutters and wood flooring. A measuring job done inaccurately can cost you a lot of money if window fashions don’t fit correctly or if you run out of material in the middle of a project. In addition, many homes have imperfections in window shapes or sub-floors that an expert installer can address up front to prevent problems later.
That depends on what products you order. All of our products are custom made to your exact specifications, and some take longer than others to produce and ship to us.Once you place your order, Tahoe Specialty Flooring & Window Design will keep you in the loop every step of the way.

Yes. In fact for many windows we recommend that solution! Many home owners prefer to use a blind or shade to provide functional room darkening, glare control and increase energy efficiency (as well as beauty), then add draperies or a top treatment to make a personal fashion statement that complements their interior decor.
